The Sudden Interest In Prescott Bush.

Funny how this was hidden by the media for years and they suddenly come out with it when it's too late.

Yes, Prescott S. Bush(Bush 43s Grandfather) had ties to Nazi Germany and the Union Banking Company that financed them but that's not the worst part. That worst part still remains hidden by the right-winged media.

I was SCREAMING about this in 2000 and the media didn't want anything to do with it! The media, including The View, are beginning to realize that people are angry that they conveniently stop informing the public when it's most important for us to hear because it's most important to them for us not to hear it.

The Republican agenda furthers the financials for big media and that is why media withholds information from the public. If they released that information it would hurt their bottom line because they don't want to have a President in office who would reign in corporate power. The media now realize that they have to appear even handed by bringing this up 8 years too late. I'm sure they'll bring up the things they are hiding about McCain when it's too late later.

Hundreds of news people and talk show hosts knew of this back then - including the BITCH Behar - and they failed in their newsperson's "hypocratic oath"... of which there is none but should be. They should have brought this up back then and now they pat themselves on the back for "a job well done".

WELL DONE MY ASS!!!

TOO LITTLE TOO LATE!!!

The news media has lost all credibility because they are run by the corporations.

Your job... find out what they are hiding about McCain and spread the word.
______________________

NOW, "THE WORST PART" that they are still hiding. Senator Prescott Bush tried to overthrow the government and FDR to install a Fascist government.

THE MEDIA HAS CONVENIENTLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT THAT FOR 8 YEARS.
______________________

NOW, MORE OF "THE WORST PART"...
Prescott Bush ran a company called "Hamburg-America Line", which came under investigation in the U.S. for Nazi Propoganda activities in 1933.
______________________

NOW, EVEN MORE OF "THE WORST PART" That has been well hidden by the right winged media.
Bush43s Great grandfather was a railroad robber baron.
______________________

Here we have four generations of Bush family that have been corrupt and fascist and yet the newsmedia has conveniently forgotten all of it until it was too late.

There needs to be a "Hypocratic Oath" for the news media and there needs to be a law.
The law should state that corporations are NOT allowed to guide the principles of their news media.

What is Mother's Day really About?

The Origin of Mother's Day

Mother's day is about peace. It's about not allowing your sons to die at war and not allowing your son to take the life of another mother's son during war. This came from the civil war from mothers who knew mothers on the other side whose sons died.

As originally envisioned, "Mother's Day" was a call for pacifism and disarmament by women.

Early "Mother's Day" was mostly marked by women's peace groups. A common early activity was the meeting of groups of mothers whose sons had fought or died on opposite sides of the American Civil War.

This one day of the year would be spent with your mother instead of off dying or killing another mother's son! And Mother's day was a scream from Mothers who wanted to be heard in a time they were not listened to.
If men gave up their ploughs for war then Mothers will give up their work at home for peace.
They were sick and tired of losing their sons to war!

Mother's Day Proclamation.

Arise, then, women of this day!
Arise, all women who have hearts,
Whether our baptism be of water or of tears!

Say firmly:
"We will not have great questions decided by irrelevant agencies, Our husbands will not come to us, reeking with carnage, for caresses and applause.
Our sons shall not be taken from us to unlearn All that we have been able to teach them of charity, mercy and patience.
We, the women of one country, will be too tender of those of another country To allow our sons to be trained to injure theirs."

From the bosom of the devastated Earth a voice goes up with our own.
It says: "Disarm! Disarm! The sword of murder is not the balance of justice." Blood does not wipe out dishonor, nor violence indicate possession.
As men have often forsaken the plough and the anvil at the summons of war, Let women now leave all that may be left of home for a great and earnest day of counsel.

Let them meet first, as women, to bewail and commemorate the dead.
Let them solemnly take counsel with each other as to the means Whereby the great human family can live in peace, Each bearing after his own time the sacred impress, not of Caesar, But of God.

In the name of womanhood and humanity, I earnestly ask That a general congress of women without limit of nationality May be appointed and held at someplace deemed most convenient And at the earliest period consistent with its objects, To promote the alliance of the different nationalities, The amicable settlement of international questions, The great and general interests of peace.

Solution to the Florida Michigan Debacle

The argument was made a very long time ago that Florida and Michigan are each a cross section of the US. They felt that they were more important than other states as far as what their vote meant. Nevermind that in both states it was Republicans who decided to cause these problems with the Democratic party.
So, since the idea is that they are a perfect cross section of the people of the US then we will seat their delegates. We will take their delegates and divide them equally among all 56(?) primaries/caucuses. My math comes up with 6.5 delegates per voting district be it state or territory or whatever. DC gets 6.5 and California gets 6.5, so do the upcoming Pennsylvania and Puerto Rico areas. If you wanted to divide them up percentage wise, that would be fine too but I like my 6.5 each better.

TREASON, VOTING & RUSH "little blue pill" LIMBAUGH

Everyone may be arguing about who signed what affidavit and who voted for whom in Ohio but you may need to look deeper into the laws to find true wrongdoing. This time, it would include Texas and Pennsylvania and any person in any state. Under section 2385 of the treason laws they spell out that it does not only cover the US government or just the state government when trying to overthrow the government. It doesn't just end with the government...

"Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein"

When the treason law states "any political subdivision therein" it does not state anything geographical. A political subdivision could be considered a political party and thereby mean that those who crossed party lines to wreak havoc with the Democratic party may be described as committing treason against a part of the United States. That's not just Ohio, people - that's everywhere including the upcoming Pennsylvania race.

Subverting the government is an attempt to overthrow by not allowing the true will of the people to decide.

Everyone who has participated or will participate should be tried and if found guilty, get the appropriate punishment which is, "shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both, and shall be ineligible for employment by the United States or any department or agency thereof, for the five years next following his conviction."

As far as the fat boy Rush "little blue pill" Limbaugh is concerned you need not look any further than the first line of this treason law... "Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches..." Yes, the fat boy has indeed committed treason!

FAUX 'NEWS' The Rebublican's Bad Wrong Arm.

No, not the "good right arm".

Remember all those times you, as a fine progressive, said that Rupert Murdoch and Fox News were the Joseph Goebbels of the Republican spin machine? Now there's proof... Well, alleged proof of what we all suspect.

Judith Regan has filed a 100 million dollar lawsuit against News Corp. and others on Tuesday alleging she was asked by officials at News Corp. to lie to federal investigators so that they could further their political agenda. Apparently, Judith Regan had an affair with Police Commisioner Bernard Kerik - yes, the Bernard Kerik that recommended by Giuliani for a possition at Homeland Security and then was nominated by GW Bush for Homeland Security Secretary. News Corp. allegedly wanted to protect Rudy from bad publicity.

At this point I think we can safely use this to request that News Corp. lose their license and that those executives be thrown in prison for a very, very long time.

FOOL ME ONCE, SHAME ON... UM...

When NAFTA happened we thought it would create jobs because that's what the Republicans said... Well color me stupid!
They're trying to do it again. Trying to convince Americans that expanding free trade(not 'fair trade') will give us good jobs. "When trade expands, American workers gain," the president said, and, "More exports support better and higher-paying jobs," and "And to keep our economy expanding, we need to keep expanding trade."
You notice how he says "keep our economy expanding"? That means BIG business that make money in each country they're based. He says nothing about the dwindling middle class or the poor. The only thing this does is increase the value of vaseline because that's what the poor and middle class are going to need when they get bent over. But the president doesn't mind, vaseline is a petroleum based product. That means the oil companies make more money.
Bush said, "I know many Americans feel uneasy about new competition and worry that trade will cost jobs, so the federal government is providing substantial funding for trade adjustment assistance that helps Americans make the transition from one job to the next. We are working to improve federal job-training programs. And we are providing strong support for America's community colleges, where people of any age can go to learn new skills for a better, high-paying career."
Good, I'm going to need some job training on how I should wait tables or flip burgers at MickyD's or make coffee at Coffee Bean(I'd rather starve to death than work at Starbucks).
Call your representative immediately and tell them, "I'm tired of being raped by this administration! Please stop any trade deal the President backs!"

ROHRABACHER'S RANT - Slightly Hypocritical!

Imagine being imprisoned and tortured for two years for something you didn't do. Now imagine not being allowed to know what you are accused of or to go to court to clear your name.

U.S. lawmakers offered apologies Thursday to Canadian citizen, Maher Arar, who was sent to Syria by U.S. counter terrorism officials, where he was imprisoned and tortured.

Lawmakers from both parties called on the Bush administration to apologize to the software engineer who is still barred from entering the United States even though the Canadian government has cleared him of any links to terrorist groups.

An administration official said she was not aware of any plans for the White House to issue an apology to Arar.

Arar had told the House of Representatives Judiciary and Foreign Affairs committees about his horrible experience by video link. He said, "The America I see and hear about today is not the same America I admired when I lived there from 1999 to 2001.

California Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher said, "Our country made a mistake and has been unwilling to own up to it, it reflects an arrogance I don't like to see in our government."

THAT'S A FUNNY STATEMENT COMING FROM DANA ROHRABACHER!

It's a little odd that Dana Rohrabacher became vocal this way when you consider that he voted YES on the Military Commissions Act(s 3930) which left it up to the sociopathic president George Bush to define what interrogation techniques outside those barred by the Geneva Conventions are still permissible. It also would legally immunize CIA officers who may have engaged in activity characterized as torture. The bill goes on to bar non-American citizens from protesting their imprisonment if the president designates them as “enemy combatants.”
He also voted NO to not show his support for Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) effort to ban cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment of detainees held by U.S. forces and to require the military to follow the Army field manual for interrogations(H R 2863).
The White House was resistant to any constraints on its ability to wage the war on terrorism. Initially President Bush threatened a veto. However, following a brief public clash with McCain, who had support of a veto-proof majority in the House, the White House relented and threw its support behind the bill. In a small compromise McCain agreed to add two paragraphs giving civilian interrogators legal protections that were only previously extended to military interrogators. The president signed the bill into law on Dec. 30, 2005.

At the time of this post I am still awaiting a response from Dana Rohrabacher's representative as to why he would come out publicly for apologizing yet still back torture and indefinite detention.

Rohrabacher's voting records on these and other bills can be viewed in the link below.
